- Made from a beautiful piece of old growth Maple Burl Wood that was kiln dried. Specially selected to create this one of a kind functional piece of artwork.
- Features a beautiful burl wood “live-edge” on one side and a clean straight line on the other side. Burl wood is an old growth wood, meaning they have no sapwood and are considerably older than 2nd or new growth pieces. The grain patterns of burl wood are incredible creating exceptional coloration, burly grain and striking mineral stains. These are natural burl pieces with each one having their own unique natural cracks, roughness and burs.
- Covered in a beautiful linseed oil for long-lasting quality.
